FAQ

Did you design everything?

No! All Stryke Gunworks products unless specifically stated in the product descriptions, are being sold under license, or agreements with their creators.

Are FRT’s or ART’s legal?

Under current federal law and recent court rulings, yes. These triggers require a single press of the trigger for each shot fired. As the slide moves backward, it forces the trigger into a reset/safety position. As the slide moves forward, the trigger is no longer forced into the reset/safety position, allowing it to be activated again.

A federal court decision (National Association for Gun Rights, Inc. v. Garland, Case No. 4:23-cv-00830) ruled that FRT’s (Forced Reset Triggers) are not considered machine guns under federal law.

However, certain states have banned them, including Florida, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island.

Additionally, always check local laws and respect the rules of any shooting range you visit, as some may prohibit the use of FRT’s.

Due to ongoing intellectual property rights disputes, any products we may sell that function in a similar way but designed very differently cannot and will not be called FRT’s on this website, we will only call them ART’s or Active Reset Triggers.

Are Bump Stocks legal?

As of June 2024 Supreme Court’s ruling in Garland v. Cargill, struck down the federal ban on bump stocks.

Though be aware that certain states have banned bump stocks at the state level, those states include California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington.
